Personal project to create a short title sequence for the Netflix series Money Heist

Money Heist Title Sequence

This was a personal project designing title sequence for the Netflix series "Money Heist". I really enjoyed watching the series and decided that designing a title sequence for this show would be fun. All the scenes were completed in 3Ds Max, rendered with VRay, and finished in Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro.

Couple of biggest challenges were making the liquid simulation and making the money fall down realistically.

The liquid simulation was very time consuming and took a lot of trial and error. I learned a lot from Bifrost Basic webinar by Roland Reyer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oSoX4RXXFY)

The solution for the money falling came from KevinHarper3DArtist youtube tutorial mParticle - 3DS Max 2014 Tutorial. Level: advanced (creating flying paper)

Mind Map and Storyboard

Just like with the Absentia title sequence project, one of the first things I did was start the mind map and the storyboard. They helped me brainstorm ideas and organize my thoughts.

A lot of the workflow was right from the Learn Squared course by Ash Thorp, Main Title Design. The whole course was excellently designed as it was very easy to understand and follow. Thank you Ash Thorp and the Learn Squared crew! https://www.learnsquared.com/courses/main-title
